ABOUT ME

IRENE SUBA, PT, MA, CYT

Physical Therapist, Yoga Teacher, Cancer Warrior

  • As a physical therapist with over 30 years of experience and a certified yoga teacher, I understand how the body moves, holds pain, and what it needs to heal. Yet, my greatest lessons have come from my own journey through injury and illness.

Years of chronic back pain, along with shoulder and knee surgeries, taught me firsthand the power of yoga. Incorporating it into my rehabilitation not only relieved my pain but also accelerated my recovery far beyond what traditional physical therapy alone could achieve.

The true impact of yoga became undeniable in 2023 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. From the life-altering diagnosis, through nearly a year of tough treatments, I never stopped practicing. Yoga gave me the resilience to keep moving forward, the tools to heal, and the courage to never give up.
